Adrien has declassified this parcel from Vacqueyras to Cotes du Rhone until the vines have more age. Crushed, de-stemmed and fermented in concrete tanks, using a submerged cap for a slow gentle infusion of fine tannins.
Bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Nose:
Aromas of black cherry, black olive and liquorice are complimented by smoky earth, fresh provincial herbs and peppered meats.
Palate:
The vibrant medium bodied palate is filled with ripe dark cherry and liquorice fruits which are underpinned by black olive, scorched earth, dried meat and peppery herbs. Good freshness with refined yet solidly structured tannins leading into a deep savoury finish that’s quite Northern Rhone like.
