Villa Maria has a long held objective to be environmentally responsible and to operate using sustainable practices.

Fruit for this wine was sourced from their Joseph Soler Vineyard situated on the border of the Gimblett Gravels in Hawkes Bay. They have been operating this vineyard organically since 2001, with 21 hectares now fully BioGro-certified including those from which the grapes for this wine were harvested.

This vineyard is managed with a focus on enhancing soil vitality to grow healthy and balanced vines, utilising organic products and methods to work with nature to ensure quality fruit.
