Nose:
Playful aromas of smoke with subtle notes of fruity apple and pear, liquorice, treacle, malted oats and salted almonds.
Palate:
Initially smoky, fading into sweet buttery toffee, is soon succeeded with a soft, sweet fruitiness of melon, apple, pear, vanilla and a hint of citrus, black pepper and clove. Finish: Smoke returns with a syrupy sweet smoothness, alongside pepper, liquorice and dry tannins.
