Fraser Gallop Palladian Chardonnay 2019

Established in 1999, Fraser Gallop Estate is at the heart of Margaret River’s Wilyabrup valley (20km) north of the town of Margaret River and six kilometres from the South West coast of Western Australia.  The Estate enjoys splendid isolation and a moderate maritime climate created by the Indian Ocean to the north and west.

This wine marks the third vintage of their Palladian Chardonnay after many years of trials and experimentation. The hand harvested fruit from this slightly cooler season shows slower sugar accumulation with higher retention of natural acidity.

“Looks like 2019 is a very good vintage for Margaret River Chardonnay. Lime, green apple, a little struck match, cinnamon and almond brioche. Its lean, very crunchy and tight. It finishes very very long with razor sharp lemony focus.  It's somewhat ascetic in natureas at now, but does fell like a wine of potential" - Gary Walsh, 95 points, The Wine Front.
